Farida Supports Severenth

Dawsons Music and Farida guitars will be supporting rising UK heavy metal band Severenth when they headline the revamped Tivoli Ballroom on Friday 20th March. The Tivoli, located in Buckley (North-Wales) is infamous as a live venue as it has played to host to acts diverse as Thin Lizzy, Slade, Oasis, Radiohead, Fear Factory, Skindred,(Hed)-PE and OPM. Severenth will be performing tracks from their debut album ‘The Age Of Paranoia’ (due for release this May) and will also be filming a live video for the albums title track, which will be played on various music video channels throughout the summer!

Other bands performing include Chester-based Classic rockers Hellacious! And local metal legends Blindsight who will be performing one of their last ever shows.

Doors open at 8pm, entry is £4 and there is a 16+ age-restriction.

Vauxhall Motors Launch Battle Of The Bands Competition

Vauxhall Motors are currently looking for bands to compete in a forthcoming large scale Battle Of The Bands competition. Prizes include gear from major brands such as Marshall, Shure, and Ernie Ball, as well as an electric guitar and endorsement deal with emerging new guitar brand Farida. (Click to view the flyer)

China Crisis Chester Charity Gig

Farida endorsees and 80’s superstars China Crisis are playing a special one-off “up close and personal” gig in aid of Chester’s famous Guild Hall on the 19th March. Chester Guitar Night

Dawsons Music Chester recently held a guitar night at Telfords Warehouse in Chester. The Dawsons demo band used a wide selection of Faridas to show how the different models could be used with different styles of music.

Music China 2007

Music China 2007 saw Farida display around 150 models with more than 70 models of electric guitar, including the new FE, PRP and FLP series.

Frankfurt Musikmesse 2007

Farida introduced many new models of acoustic, electric, classical and Jazz guitars at Frankfurt Musikmesse 2007. It received excellent remarks from the European customers on the designs, wood materials, technical skills and beautiful tones of the guitars.
