London based indie-rock band Wolf Alice have recently started using two Farida acoustic guitars. Front-woman Ellie Roswell chose the Farida M-26E parlour guitar featuring a B-Band A1.2 pickup, solid cedar top with striped rosewood back and sides a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard and lead guitarist Joff Oddie chose the Farida D-62E featuring sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and Fishman preamp.
Formed in 2010 by Ellie and Joff, their folk-tinged indie grunge has seen regular airplay on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music and they have featured in NME Magazine. After releasing their debut EP in 2013 entitled Blush the band were declared as the “Most Blogged About Band of 2013” via BBC 6 Music.
Wolf Alice, along with their Farida guitars, played a sold-out show at London’s Heaven in Camden at the end of October 2014. They will be performing across the country during March and April 2015.
Wolf Alice are a four-piece alternative rock band from North London, consisting of Ellie Rowsell, Joel Amey, Joff Oddie and Theo Ellis. They released their debut single Fluffy in February 2013, the Bros single followed this in May. In October 2013, they released their debut EP Blush. The Creature Songs EP was released in May 2014 on Dirty Hit Records.
