Farida Guitars and Teenage Cancer Trust to auction off very special guitars signed by three guitar legends.
After another run of successful shows at the world famous Royal Albert Hall in March 2015, Teenage Cancer Trust are auctioning off three mahogany bodied Farida D-15E’s signed by huge guitar legends Noel Gallagher (Oasis, High Flying Birds), Ronnie Wood (The Rolling Stones) and Van Morrison.
Around seven young people aged between 13-24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word “cancer” and Teenage Cancer Trust are the only charity dedicated to making this happen. The good people at Teenage Cancer Trust supports and cares for 13-24 year olds who are diagnosed with cancer by providing specialist teenage units to meet the needs of young people while they experience this terrifying time so early in life.
The Who’s Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, patrons of the Teenage Cancer Trust, are intimately involved with the creation of the annual fundraising gigs which first started in 2000 at London’s Royal Albert Hall. 2015 saw another bumper line-up with performances from Frank Turner, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Van Morrison, Stereophonics, Gaz Coombes, Paul Weller and The Who.
To help this great cause Farida Guitars has donated three mahogany bodied D-15E’s from the new 2015 Series and each one is signed by a huge guitar legend: Noel Gallagher, Ronnie Wood and Van Morrison and will come with a certificate of authenticity.
