BBC radio darlings The Loose Kites have done things the old fashioned way, building up a loyal fanbase, tirelessly touring with their brand of good time folk pop. A string of residencies across the UK, and a host of high profile support slots with the likes of Nizlopi, Julian Cope and Chumbawumba, has set them up for what looks like being a rapid ascension to become one of the most exciting folk acts this country has produced in recent years.
