Multi-instrumentalist session musician Ben Jones turned professional at the 18 and has become one of the UK’s hottest and most in demand session guitarists. The big named artists he’s work with speak for themselves from Kelly Rowland to Tinie Tempah to Lalah Hathaway.
Ben’s playing style spans a multitude of genres. Featuring on Mary J Blige’s latest record ‘The London Sessions’, Ben’s guitar work can be heard on most of that record. Ben can be found playing regularly for Universal Publishing.
With plenty of touring under his belt, Ben has performed extensively with the likes of Pixie Lott and Tinie Tempah which has seen him play many televised performances with both artists. Not just limited to major UK tours, Ben has also toured internationally with the likes of Westlife, Kian Egan, Sam Sparro and Charlotte Church to name a few.
When he isn’t in session, Ben’s regular gigs include performing monthly at the internationally renowned Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London as part of Natalie William’s Soul Family.
Most recently Ben has been performing in the house band for BBC TV’s singing competition show ‘The Voice’ with his Farida A-62CE in tow. The A-62CE is Farida’s flagship auditorium shaped electro-acoustic complete with cutaway to reach the higher frets.
