If you’re looking for an economically priced yet high quality build of classical guitar, the CC series by Farida encompasses that criteria. The CC-10 classical guitar produces an incredibly bright, balanced tone through its traditional body shape that contributes to the volume. At Farida, we ensure that each guitar is expertly crafted from the best available tonewoods to provide each individual instrument with its own unique timbre.
The classical guitar is often recognised by its shape, with square shoulders and definitive curves. The CC-10 has a solid cedar body top, a very prominent tonewood in the construction of a classical guitar as it enables the guitar to fully project each note. The back and sides are also constructed from mahogany, which, partnered with the solid cedar top, adds warmth to the tone and also gives it depth.
Mahogany is also the wood of choice in the neck of the CC-10, a material which is appreciated by guitar players due to the comfort it offers as you play. For many, mahogany and rosewood form the perfect neck partnership, so as the CC-10 is also joined by a rosewood fingerboard this gives you the ultimate base to play on.
Farida have carefully selected certain materials for the hardware of the guitar, such as a rosewood bridge and the 3 in line gold machine head tuners. Rosewood is a durable component often used in guitar bridges as it helps boost intonation and sustain.
The sleek natural finish is accompanied by maple and rosewood binding and a wood mosaic soundhole rosette, a wonderfully well-thought out decorative touch to have. We also include a guitar case to keep the CC-10 protected against dirt or damage.
