The Farida CC-20CE comes from the newly designed CC series of electro classical guitars. Using top quality material, we have crafted a conventional classical model that won’t weigh too heavily on your finances. The CC-20CE produces a well-balanced range of tones while offering remarkable projection for every note and chord. The CC-20CE is appealing to folk and classical guitarists alike.
A perhaps more individualistic feature of the CC-20CE is that its body has a classical cutaway with the purpose of making it easier to reach the upper frets towards the bottom of the neck. With higher notes being so much more achievable, you are greeted with a whole universe of tone to experiment with. The tone is further enhanced by the wood in the body, back and sides. Solid cedar is typically used in the soundboard, and this is the case with the CC-20CE. The back and sides are made from sonokelin which partners the solid cedar top beautifully to give the guitar its rich, clear sound.
The neck is made from trusty mahogany, it feels smooth and comfortable as you play. A rosewood fingerboard offers a playing surface as nice as satin, so as you go from one fret to the next it feels incredibly natural.
Rosewood is employed in the construction of the bridge, a popular choice as it has the ability to improve the sustain of the guitar. The machine heads are set out as three in line gold tuners, pleasing on the eye whilst working to keep the guitar as accurately tuned as possible.
In order to visually accompany the Farida CC-20CE, we have carefully added rosewood and maple body binding and a wood mosaic soundhole rosette. It’s always important to ensure that your guitar is properly cared for, and so the Farida case included with this model is a welcome accessory.
