The Farida G-25E electro-acoustic guitar provides you with everything you need for a live acoustic performance. With a superb Fishman pre-amp and a solid construction using high quality materials, the G-25E sounds just great. Its shorter scale body and compact frame makes it comfortable even for smaller players, but it is just as favourable for travelling musicians.
Solid Sitka spruce is used in the body top along with spalted maple used in the back and sides. This is not only pleasing on the eye but it also ensures that the sound output is not compromised despite the shorter scale of the guitar. The use of these tonewoods allow for a very focused tone with an incredibly balanced range.
Mahogany is the tonewood of choice for the neck of the G-25E due to its smooth feel and is joined by a sonokelin fingerboard. The sonokelin is a fantastic choice as it enables easy fret transitions whether you’re strumming big chords or delicately finger picking notes. The short scale length of the guitar also actually enhances the overall sound due to the length of the strings from the headstock to the bridge.
To amplify the G-25E it’s simple. Thanks to the onboard Fishman Sonitone pre-amp fitted beneath the soundhole, you can plug into an amp and play away. With easy-to-use standard Volume and Tone controls, the Sonitone pre-amp is basic but is more than sufficient for shaping the tone and timbre of the G-25E.
Like the fingerboard, sonokelin is also employed for the bridge as it is incredibly durable and resilient. Reliable die-cast tuners keep tuning accurately maintained.
Visually the maple and rosewood body binding as well as the spalted maple rosette around the soundhole offer a stunning aesthetic. A guitar case is dutifully supplied with the G-25E to enable its protection.
