If you’re looking for a top quality acoustic guitar that delivers great sound in an attractive body, the Farida SD-58 covers all the bases. Perfect for either practising at home or playing in the studio, this guitar proves to be a fantastic choice for any modern guitarist.
Taking on the well-loved, classic dreadnought body, the SD-58 retains an element of this traditional shape that appeals to fingerstyle players and chord strummers everywhere. The dreadnought is without doubt still one of the most popular styles of acoustic around, and the excellent features of the SD-58 ensure it stands out from similar models.
We have concentrated on building this guitar with some of the best quality tonewoods to enhance its superb acoustic output. Solid carpathian makes up the body top and is paired with solid African rosewood for the back and sides. This pairing produce an abundant range of well-rounded tones but also give the guitar an incredibly sturdy feel, which is exactly what you want for a high calibre model like this.
A mahogany neck with a dark, ebony fingerboard is firmly joined to the body of the SD-58, offering a playing surface that you can freely experiment with until you’re happy with the sound. The prominent, decorative “F” inlay in the 12th fret is a wonderful touch, while the other circular inlays guide you to confidently make seamless fret changes.
Our Farida original high precision machine head tuners allow you to easily retune your strings and maintain the harmony. A rosewood bridge is employed to improve sustain and intonation with the best possible results.
The stunning Sunburst colour of the SD-58 is completed by decorative binding and a sound-hole rosette, and the colour and quality of the guitar can be well-maintained thanks to the inclusion of a Farida case.
