Hailing from the Soundboard series of guitars, the Farida SM-35 parlour guitar is compact in size, appealing to a wide range of guitarists as it feels so comfortable to play. Crafted out of well-chosen woods, the SM-35 is destined to please.
The Farida SM-35 is entirely capable of filling the room with sound despite its smaller body frame. Youngsters, girls, boys, men and women can all enjoy the SM-35 parlour acoustic, it fits just right against your body and is easy enough to take out on your travels if you so wish.
This acoustic guitar is loud enough, in part due to the materials employed in its construction. A solid cedar body top is paired with high figure ziricote in the back and sides. This combination enables you to experiment playing a wide range of musical genres and discover its flexibility and aptitude in every single one.
For you to play as freely as possible, the SM-35 is given a mahogany neck joined by a rosewood fingerboard. This tonewood partnership has proven popular over the years with guitarists as it offers a luxury playing feel in your hand as you work your way up and down the frets, following their circular inlays as your lead.
The bridge material plays an important part in securing a firm connection between body and strings, thus the SM-35 has a sturdy rosewood bridge.
The guitar features a classical style, slotted headstock for the strings to be held by vintage nickel 3 in line machine head tuners for as pure a tuning as possible.
Decorative appointments such as the mahogany / spalted maple ring around the soundhole plus the maple / rosewood binding offer an illustrious finishing touch. Consequently, to keep the guitar in tip-top condition, it is supplied with a protective case.
