Farida's deluxe Jumbo model, the J-66 is as stunning sonically as it is visually.

The flame maple back and sides are complemented by the solid Englemann spruce soundboard, edged by matching flame maple binding. The timber used here is of the highest quality, and delivers a crisp defined tone, suited to a multitude of playing styles.

It gives a wide, open tone for strumming, with the treble of the spruce balanced by the low end of the Jumbo body shape. This natural acoustic equalisation, combined with the extra volume of the larger body, also makes the J-66 ideal for fingerstyle. Even softly struck notes project fantastically, giving the player a diverse range of dynamic options.

In its recent review, Total Guitar gave the J-66 a maximum rating of five stars, declaring that 'this is as good as acoustic guitars get at this price-point'. 'There's no shortage of competition around £500' the reviewer concluded, 'but this guitar tops the list with the best of them'.
