This is the top of Farida's parlour range, and a very special guitar indeed.

A tribute to the sound of the Mississippi Delta, the M-26 is modelled on the original blues guitar, arguably the single most influential instrument in the history of modern music.

The solid Canadian red cedar soundboard is set on stunning Pao Ferro back and sides, providing the superb warm tone of the M-2, but with a touch more bass response.

The detailed finishing on this model is evidence of the care taken in the design and construction of the instrument. The top is edged in flame mahogany binding, the sound hole is inlaid with beautiful green abalone inlay, and everything from the bone nut to the select rosewood fretboard is of the highest possible quality.
